Like so many others, I first came to the mountains to get away from the fast pace of city life. The combination of natural beauty and a friendly small-town atmosphere made Ashe County a perfect fit for me. Since then I have worked tirelessly to learn everything I can about the High Country. Today, I am considered an expert on the High Country area and what it has to offer.

Shortly after arriving in Ashe County, I established Buyer’s Choice Realty, a real estate firm offering exclusive buyer representation. Over the past sixteen years, I have worked with hundreds of great buyer clients, finding them the right property while protecting their interests and their wallet. In 2006, I established Mountainscape Realty and we moved to our present location on McConnell Street in Jefferson. We are now a full-service real estate firm with a team of ten experienced agents.

I hold degrees in both Criminal Justice (Bachelors) and Business Administration (Masters). I am also a veteran of the United States Air Force and a proud member of the local Ashe County Rotary club of which I have served as a past president. I currently serve as the President-Elect for the High Country Multiple Listing service. In 2015, I was honored to have been voted the High Country Association of Realtor's "Realtor of the Year". In addition, I currently serve on many local boards and committees which provide me with an opportunity to give back to the community I love so much.  I am happily married with three children, Ben (18), Nick (20), and Rachel (28). My wife Anita is an Ashe County native and currently teaches at Blue Ridge Elementary School.
